The power amp is turned on with the main switch on the pre-amp, and
they are offered as a set.
Here we have the combination of Marantz's legendary phono section,
input and sound control, 125 Marantz Watts (VERY conservative rating
into 8 Ohm speakers) and that unmatched extremely addictive original
vintage Marantz "sound" from 1975 that you get from nothing else!

Kenwood KR 8010 SOLD
120 WPC RMS, AM, FM stereo receiver
This receiver is fully functional and has been thoroughly cleaned,
adjusted, and tested.
This is a heavy unit which will require good padding in a large box and
will ship to continental US at standard UPS or USPS fees.
A Kenwood from the company's prime in the late 70s and is
amongst the best receivers ever made.
This beauty is fully tested and
is cosmetically very good for a vintage unit with only minor wear that
shows strictly in harsh direct sunlight. We have rarely seen a unit
that could be polished up to such a nice
state!
The tuner pulls in every station
available in the downtown Tacoma and nearby Seattle area (30 miles
away!) and was adjusted to be spot on the dial.
A SOLID 120 Watts per
channel and sounds very sweet. The piano piece that was playing on our
classical station recently simply pearled through the attached vintage
ADS speakers in a most beautiful way.

This is a VERY heavy unit which will require good padding in a large

is recommended if you live in Western WA, especially in the
Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia area.
This one is from the top of the line straight from the best days of
Marantz at its peak in the late seventies.
The 2325 could be regarded as the King of receivers, with only the
scope equipped model 2500 outranking it at the time as the ultimate
emperor of all receivers.
Anybody familiar with Marantz can appreciate the unique sound, impact,
and quality of these units.
We LOVE this unit and would almost hate to sell it!
On our vintage Allison speakers this is old behemoth is simply without
peers and will get you addicted in under 5 seconds flat - come and
listen to it!

This may well be one of the nicest receivers we ever had on our
shelves, and if "Spouse Acceptance Factor" is of any issue, both looks
and budget will make this a very sweet deal.
Radio Shack had a long relationship with Pioneer for its own
"Realistic" equipment that resulted in a very good line of house
branded gear in the Hey-Days of HiFi.
Our checkup revealed a clean interior of high quality with a massive
power supply!
This unit is rated at old standards 85 Watts per channel RMS and can
even drive some very power hungry high end speakers with pleasing and
very clean results.
